As universities have directed resources into the internationalization of their education programs, the College of Education at National Changhua University of Education (NCUE) has enriched its programs of teaching and scholarly research for future development.

We have aligned and unified our university educational resources, expanded into multiple opportunities for  teacher training, and repositioned and transformed our teachers college. Because NCUE has expanded into a comprehensive university in the good tradition of teachers colleges, the NCUE College of Education has added multiple courses, constructed related research centers, and expects to achieve all its long-term goals with multiple programs in counseling psychology, student affairs and guidance, family and marriage counseling, psychological examination and assessment, elementary school and preschool special education courses, rehabilitation counseling, and educational and psychological assessment. In addition, the college is committed to gradually designing and establishing several departments, such as the Department of Counseling Psychology, the Department of Family and Marriage Counseling, the Department of Psychological Examination and Assessment, the Department of Student Affairs and Guidance, the Graduate Institute of Educational and Psychological Assessment and so on. The college will also set up a few related research centers, including an e-learning Center, the Union Research Center of Counseling Psychology, the Center of Counseling teaching and Internship, and the Multimedia Material Studio. Finally, the college aims to accomplish the purpose of addressing the construction of human behavior development by uniting related departments and research centers within the college.

To strengthen the competitive ability of our educational college programs, the ultimate goals of the NUCE College of Education in the future will emphasize respect for the autonomy of each department in combination with the utilization of all related resources, working to promote the college’s teaching and bring service quality to a first-class level.
